It will come out a little sticky so be sure to put some extra milled flour on to a cutting board or wax paper before rolling your dough out. Mix the dry ingredients together and then the wet ingredients. It’s mostly like making a cookie for your pooch. Not only are these apparently tasty (and even smell nice while they’re cooking!) but they’re incredibly easy. Our four dogs can’t get enough of them and will even steal them from each other when the other isn’t looking. ![]() so I came up with my own recipe for treats and the dogs LOVE them. Most dogs do, right? Buying them at the store is nearly impossible when you’re trying to avoid anything that’s not made in the U.S. Not quite sure where that comes from, but it’s endearing. My dogs love their treats. (Because I have a sheep dog who legit squeaks and cries when she gets excited. Let’s just say she couldn’t contain her excitement and squeaked around the house. I rolled out the cookies, cut them into the shape of sheep while cackling (because I’m easily amused) and popped these treats in the oven.Īnd when Lucy realized they were for her as they were cooling? She stood by my feet as I whipped up the dough, just like she does whenever I’m cooking anything that could be of interest to her (read: everything), though she didn’t know these was for her.
